I have been qualified as an Emmett Practitioner for Horses for nearly a year and have recently completed the first intake of EP1 Advance Practitioner for Horses course. During my training and since qualifying I have worked with a variety of horses and ponies treating physical, mental and emotional difficulties. I volunteer at a local horse and pony rescue centre and have witnessed amazing responses from the horses to the Emmett techniques on both physical and emotional levels enabling horses to be successfully rehomed.
I love working with this technique as it is horse-centered and gentle working at the horse's pace to release muscle tensions and consolidate any resulting behaviours.
I took up dog Agility when a rescue dog came into my life about 15 years ago after working with horses for over 30 years. The horses led me to find out about Emmett Therapy when I met Tony Sherry. One thing led to another and I found myself hooked. The Emmett's helps my dogs feel their best when competing and I hope to help other owners keep their dogs in great condition.
